Submissions Policy

At Ikenga Creative Lab, we are passionate about discovering fresh voices and championing new and underrepresented storytellers. We welcome pitches and submissions that align with our creative vision. However, to protect both our team and the integrity of your work, we have a structured submission process.

Please note:

• We encourage submissions from both emerging and established writers, but all submissions must be original, with clear ownership of intellectual property.

• We can only accept materials from writers with industry representation or by prior introduction. However, we also offer opportunities for new writers to connect with us through open call initiatives and development schemes.

• Any unsolicited scripts, treatments, or ideas sent without agreement will not be read and will be deleted.

If you’re an emerging writer without representation and would like to introduce your work, we invite you to send a brief inquiry via our contact form. If your project aligns with our current slate, we will provide further guidance on the next steps.

Work Experience and Internships

At Ikenga Creative Lab, we are passionate about nurturing emerging talent and fostering the next generation of storytellers. We offer limited placements for individuals looking to gain insight into independent film and television production.

Opportunities may include:

• Shadowing members of our team across development and production.

• Gaining exposure to the creative process behind scripted and documentary projects

• Assisting with research, production tasks, and creative development.
